After submitting the application, you will receive instructions on how to submit the additional application materials listed below through your online MyTU帐户. If you prefer, you may also mail these materials to

You will receive your nine-digit Temple University identification number (TUid) via email once you submit your application for admission. Be sure to include your name 和 TUid on all documents that you mail to Temple. View a complete set of application instructions for graduate study in the College of Education 和 Human Development.

Supporting Materials

For admissions consideration, applicants should submit:

  1. 成绩单: Submit official 本科 和 graduate transcripts from all accredited institutions you have attended 和/or from which you earned credit. Official transcripts can be emailed to educate@chinaqinyu.com or sent to the Office of Enrollment Management address listed above.

  2. Statement of Goals: Write a 500- to 1,000-word statement in autobiographical style covering the following areas:
    1. How have your personal, 学术, 和 professional experiences shaped your research interests, 和 how might a doctoral program in Policy 和 Organizational Studies help you explore those interests?
    2. What 学术/professional goals would the program help you to achieve following graduation?
    3. How does the doctoral program at Temple fit your individual interests, 需要, 和 future goals (including the faculty member whose research best matches your own interests)?

  3. Academic Writing Sample: This should be a paper written for a course within the past five years. If applicants do not have a recent paper written for a course, they should compose an op-ed piece on the educational issue of their choosing. The op-ed should be between 400 和 1,200 words 和 should be the kind of piece that might appear in The New York Times or The Philadelphia Inquirer.

  4. Recommendations: Submit two letters of reference that provide insight into your 学术 competence. References from college or university faculty members are recommended. You may request recommendations through your MyTU帐户 or send them using the paper Reference Report for 研究生 Study (pdf) to the above mailing address.

  5. 的简历: A current professional résumé is required.
